Why this hotel: Very near Babylon. Clean rooms. Affordable rates.
Etzzz Hostel has long been a popular choice budget accommodation because of its good location, cleanliness, colorful interior and helpful staff. All 11 guestrooms (private or shared) have free WiFi, flat screen TV and air conditioning. Very close to Babylon gay sauna and a 15-minute walk from Silom main drag and Patpong night market.
Bangkok is a fabulous city, but traffic congestion varies from bad to appalling. The best way to get around Bangkok is by BTS Skytrain. This elevated metro system is air-conditioned, cheap, fast and frequent. Typically, a train arrives every couple of minutes.
The BTS Sala Daeng station in Silom is almost on top of the gay bars and clubs in Soi 2 and 4. From Sala Daeng it is just two stops to Siam, the central station, located in the heart of Bangkok’s shopping district. Virtually all our hotel recommendations are just a couple of minutes walk from a BTS station.
