One of longest-operating saunas in Hong Kong – but relatively small and a bit dated, compared with some newer venues.  Features a steam room, dry sauna and jacuzzi (all small) and a very limited number of relaxation rooms.  Central Escalator (CE) attracts a varied international clientele of Westerners and tourists.

CE can be a little difficult to find as there are no signs outside.  The entrance is on Gage Street. Go through the doorway immediately to the left of the 7Eleven store (on the corner with Cochrane Street).  Take the elevator to the second floor.

The largest sauna operated by the Gateway Group featuring a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room as well as a large number of relaxation rooms.  There is a lounge with free internet access, complimentary soft drinks and snacks.  Located in a building on the opposite Henessy Road Government Primary School. Look for stainless steel door next to the main entrance to Kwong Ah Building.  MTR Exit A3 next to Standard Chartered Bank.

Reasonable-sized sauna with steam room, dry sauna and lounge.  Tends to attract younger Asian customers.  Sunday afternoon is ‘towel free’.  My Way is quite easy to find.  The entrance to the building is about 20 meters down a narrow side street called On Lok Lane (on the right hand side).  Take the lift to the 4th floor.

QQ Fitness has been a part of the Hong Kong sauna scene for over 10 years.  The sauna tends to attract a mostly Asian crowd.  Features include a dry sauna, steam room, dark room and a number of relaxation cabins.  Open 24 hours a day but tends to get more busy in evenings.  King Dao Building name is only shown in Chinese, but the entrance is easy to spot.  Look for a big light box with QQ Fitness logo (next to Iiba Sushi and the Japanese seafood restaurant).  Nearest MTR – Wanchai.

We are not entirely sure whether to list Follow Me Sauna on our gay sauna page.  Why?  Because it does not actually have a sauna or steam room.  Follow Me main features are a small lounge, a couple of private relaxation cabins and a dark room.  There is a small lounge area and an internet station.  Attracts a mostly Asian crowd.  Towel-free on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Rainbow Sauna is a hangout for karaoke-loving bears and their friends.  Features include private karaoke rooms, café, TV lounge, a wet area, a ‘metro train’ themed dark area and relaxation cabins.  Wednesdays is ‘Chubby Bear’ night.  Rainbow is towel-free on Thursdays and Sundays from 7pm onwards.  MTR – Yau Mei Tei (Exit C1)

Rainbow has now moved to Nathan Road.  From the MTR exit, cross to other side and walk away from McDonald’s. Look for the Amway sign and Rainbow Sauna is next door. (as at April 5th, 2013, Rainbow Sauna website is not working)
