Location
Krabi is a province on Thailand’s Andaman seaboard. It is renowned for it stunning coastline with beautiful beaches, limestone peaks, crystal clear seas and spectacular tropical islands.
About
Much of Krabi has been the place of several national parks. Famous destinations include Hat Noppharat Thara, Ao Nang, Railay Beach and Koh Phi Phi National Park. Over 80 surrounding smaller islands such as Lanta islands and Phi Phi islands are popular with yachtsmen, scuba-divers, snorkelers and day-trippers from Phuket.
Krabi attracts thousands of gay tourists each year, but the main coastal town of Ao Nang has yet to establish a meaningful gay scene. So, while it is likely that you will meet plenty of gay couples enjoying a vacation, Krabi is not a destination for party goers.
How To Get There
Krabi has its own airport, so you can fly directly from Bangkok. From there, you can easily transfer to a public or private transport that operate daily to take you to your destination.

The first thing to point out is that The Tubkaak is an ‘away from it all’ resort (albeit with some interesting local exploration options). The nearest town of any size is around 30 minutes by car and the resort itself is relatively small. But it is beautiful. The views over the Ko Hong Archipelago are picture perfect. Watching the sunset over the distant islands whilst sipping a cocktail is magical. We can testify that both staff and management offer an exceptionally warm welcome to gay guests. This is a place to bring a boyfriend and a couple of good books.
