Manila’s gay nightlife is centered in Malate area in Manila City, although more gay bars have opened in other areas throughout Metro Manila.

Malate district is located at the southern end of Manila City, bordered by Manila Bay to the west and Ermita district to the north. Some of the city’s best gay nightlife can be found near the intersection of Maria Y. Orosa St and Julio Nakpil St.

The Library is a bit of a Manila institution.  This comedy bar & restaurant has been entertaining crowds for almost 30 years with a fabulous combination of camp comedy and divas banging out hit after hit.

The audience is mixed in every sense of the word.  Locals, tourists, gay, straight – all enjoy nightly shows of good, clean fun.

The latest addition to the Malate gay nightlife.  Located opposite Chélu, this gay cocktail bar and nightclub gets very busy on the weekends.

Part of the Destination Heaven complex, Red Banana features great Burlesque-style cabaret shows and hot go-go dancers.  Friendly staff and customers.

One of the first gay bars in Quezon City, offering nonstop entertainment every night.  Formula 690, which opened in February 2012, features some of the hottest go-go dancers and aims to live up to its promise of “Real Men…Real Entertainment!”

The bar has an eye-catching pink and black façade and a state-of-the-art light & sound system and an array of gorgeous male models and top-calibre artists.  According to president and owner Wilbert Tolentino, Formula 690 aims to redefine gay entertainment gay bars and remove the stigma that they cater only for “flesh”.
