Nasi Goreng Jalan Wisma Matarbak

Definitely still open. I was there on a weekday night which was Wednesday. I think the place opens at 10pm but it doesn't really get busy till 00:30. Before 11:30 it was a live band stage performance. Mainly Indonesian songs. When it came to international hits, he was doing Bruno Mars but clearly got both some lyrics and the the notes wrong. Not gonna be too demanding though. The band ends at 11:30 something afterwards then becomes standard Western pop DJ stuff. By busy on weekdays, I am talking about the venue having a little more than 70 persons. I see no non-locals at all. Locals I talked to said it gets a lot more busy on Friday or Saturday. Entrance on Wednesday night was 12,500 rupiah - one drink included.

The worst Club?

Well it all depends on the guess expectations n behavior. Been partying in some countries n won't say Apollo is the best nor the worst. You could not compare it with the Clubs in US or Europe, since it's in Indonesia (the most largest Muslim Country of the World). But I always find It's interesting in Apollo with its drag show. The crowd...well It's almost like everywhere though. They come to the Club with their friends n mostly stick with their own troops till the end. Drinks are overpriced? Well alcohol is taxed there. Lemme compare, one Beer at the Supermarkt in Indo cost 1 till 2 Euro n in the Club 5 Euros. In Barcelona one Beer cost the cheapest 50 cents and in the club it costs over 6 Euros. So which one is overpriced?

It's all normal there

Wanna sit on the Dance Club??? Either you sit on the Bar or you book a table. It's almost everywhere in Jakarta I guess. Too many Chinese isn't always true. It's just they can better afford to Party in Apollo. But every other race is welcomed for sure, as long as they don't wear sandals (it's also for your own good).

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT APOLLO

Honestly, I must say that Apollo is one of the worst clubs I have ever been to. The alcohol is overpriced, and the management is very unfriendly. I do NOT recommend that you try this place unless you want to feel disappointed.

Singapore's Number 1 sauna

Was recommended by my local friends to Cruise Club as they mentioned that it is the most popular and crowded sauna in Singapore right now. True enough, Cruise Club does not disappoint. I went on Friday and it was filled with cute hunky guys. The sauna is clean, big and with lots of great facilities. If you are in Singapore, Cruise Club is not to be missed.

Professional gay space in the big city

Entry included one drink. Nice touch. More expensive than Bangkok but don't compare apples and pears. You are in the middle of a Muslim country with ever intolerant government. My heart goes out to all the nice people there. Even if they do smoke too much.
