Maybe not a gay bar now

New ownership as of 2 days ago, according to one of the co-owners. I asked if it is still a gay bar. He paused and said, “we are for everybody.” He seemed caught off guard by my question. They had an array of booze on the back shelf, including the rainbow label of a popular vodka. They did not however have some ingredients for cocktails (which they nicely shown on a small computer tablet). This included a simple cosmopolitan. A nice snack tray accompanied the cocktails. Growing pains for sure but will need to be re-reviewed in the future to see if it still caters to the LGBTQ+ community. Others in the neighbourhood certainly do.

Disappointing...

The venue itself is fine - a large-ish bar by Seoul standards. And the drinks were OK (when we were finally served.) Maybe the barman were having an off day, but a smile didn't crack their glum faces the whole time we were there. I didn't feel welcome at all and wish I tried other gay bars in the neighbourhood. I can't believe that all Seoul gay bars are this unfriendly. Without my Korean friend I'm not sure we'd even have been served - so inattentive was the barman.

Two American customers turned away......

My bear partner and I arrived at the bar on September 9th 2017 @ 7:10pm. We saw two customers sitting at the bar as we walked in the door and the bartender ran up to us and signaled, holding up 8 fingers, that the bar didn't open until 8pm. Not so friendly after all. Don't bother going here. It was a waste of our time. The neighborhood is very "Trailer Trashy" scummy and filthy. This was the only dirty area we saw all throughout our travels through various Seoul districts. This place doesn't deserve 1 star for anything. I wish we would have taken pictures there to show the surrounding area.

Friendly bar staff.. bear staff?

Quite a sizeable place (for Seoul) and very busy on a Saturday night. Crowd is 30+ age group and mostly Korean. The bar staff are super friendly and efficient but you may have problems striking up a conversation with any of the customers. Still, it is worth a visit if you are in the Jongno area of Seoul.

nice atmosphere, good drinks, cool staff

I've been to this bar both during weekdays and weekends and I can honestly say this is one of the most popular bars in Jongno3. The interior is nice and staff could speak fluent English. The crowd seemed to be mostly bears and chubs on the weekends. Drinks are fairly cheap compared to other bars and service was good. It was hard to find this bar since it was in the quiet neighborhood.
