Formerly known as G.O.D. (Guys On Display), G Bangkok is one of the best gay dance clubs in town. There are three floors although, even on busy nights, most people tend to stay on the ground and 2nd floor. Harder dance music is delivered by talented DJ’s that quickly get the muscle-packed dance floor and stage heaving.

Gets busier after 2am as DJ Station starts to wind down. Entrance fee (usually around 300 Baht) gets you two-drink tickets. G Bangkok is also ‘home’ to DJ Spectrum K – who we think is the hottest Resident DJ on the Bangkok gay scene. Here is the latest mix of his excellent work (uploaded June 2012).

“Great club. The only decent gay dance club in SE Asia!! (The rest are just top 40 bars, at best.) Friendly staff, reasonable sound system, the right lights and dark corners. My only complaint: they have a perfectly nice chill area outside (if you can have a 'chill' area outside in BKK), yet they allow smoking inside. Duh. I know people that stay away because of this oversight.”

“Now this is a club. It's dark, smokey, loud ... a sensory overload. The sound system pumps out some serious electronic dance music. And the place really fills up after hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The crowd appears to be mostly expats and tourists, but heavily muscled expats and tourists. There are a lot of native gays, too: some muscle guys and some cuties. You'll also bump into some straight guys and their girlfriends. If you're gay and you like clubbing, this is by far Bangkok's top attraction. Don't miss it.”

“Amazing venue spilt over three levels, you can check out the views from all angles :-). Had a really good time and everyone there was so friendly. Even if you go there alone you will not be alone for long.”

“The club was packed on NYE and NYD evening attracting a great mix of Thai's and tourists. Fabulous party atmosphere. G.O.D. continues to be THE place for a late night out in Bangkok.”

“GOD is still the place everyone head after DJ. Just follow the crowd. Pretty much anything goes. Lots of good looking men, good music and cheap drinks.”
