“Hug A Trans-Person” Day

start date: 2013-05-02

Organized by Sabrina Hill and the “The Harry Benjamin Transexual/Transgendered Support Group”, the 5th annual global “Hug A Trans-Person” Day is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 2nd.  This year’s theme  is “Imagine”.  So imagine a place where equality exists for all.  Gay, bi, and gender-variant persons are all equal.  The event is not just about hugging your transgendered friend but in fact it aims to raise awareness and equity for transgendered people.

There is no where, when and how to do it.  Simply find a trans-person and give her a hug (given that you have permission to do so).
