important travel tip

Traffic in Bangkok is quite bad, especially during rush hours. The BTS Skytrain is a fast and convenient way to get around the city. This elevated metro system has air-conditioned trains that normally arrive every 5-10 minutes.

The BTS SalaDaeng station is almost on top of the Silom gay scene. From there, it is two stops to Siam, Bangkok’s central BTS station and shopping hub. Most of our hotel selections are a short walk from a Skytrain station.
