The best-known gay bar and one of the longest-running gay venues in Hanoi GC Bar gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, with gay locals, expats and foreigners.
There’s a pool table, some stools and chairs but no dance floor. Located near the Hoan Kiem Lake. The bar is relatively easy to find (although there are two streets sharing the same name).
Walk down Ngo Bao Khanh St, away from the lake. After 50 metres, turn right into a Ngo Bao Khanh St. GC Bar is about 50 metres down. There is an illuminated sign above the doors.
