No Stress Café serves an excellent choice of drinks, coffee, tea, smoothies and cakes in a laid-back, gay-friendly atmosphere.

The café also hosts LGBT events on occasions. All genders welcome. Located near the upbeat backpacker’s district.

The Avenue Cafe

New café & restaurant that serves delicious coffee, brunch, light meals and a variety of drinks in a gay-friendly atmosphere. The attractive interior décor attracts many LGBT customers, local and international.

The Avenue has 3 floors. Most laptop users are on the top floor (which they call the “Green Floor”) with usually light jazz music in the background. Staff are a mixture of straight and LGBT, and owner Yoonie is happy to provide information about the local gay scene.

The café is located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, just a 2-3 minute walk from the Walking Street, on the same lane as the Sheraton Hotel and the gay club Republic Lounge, so you can hang out here before hitting the club.

Highlands Coffee is a well-established Vietnamese coffee shop chain that has been in business for over twenty years, with branches all across Ho Chi Minh City.

The Nam Ky Khoi Nghia branch in District 1 is known as the most gay-popular café in town, attracting a large number of gay guys who come to have some coffee, surf the net, chill out, read a book or make new friends.

Busiest times are in the late afternoons and evenings, especially on the weekends.
