New café & restaurant that serves delicious coffee, brunch, light meals and a variety of drinks in a gay-friendly atmosphere. The attractive interior décor attracts many LGBT customers, local and international.
The Avenue has 3 floors. Most laptop users are on the top floor (which they call the “Green Floor”) with usually light jazz music in the background. Staff are a mixture of straight and LGBT, and owner Yoonie is happy to provide information about the local gay scene.
The café is located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, just a 2-3 minute walk from the Walking Street, on the same lane as the Sheraton Hotel and the gay club Republic Lounge, so you can hang out here before hitting the club.
