Popular, homely gay bar on ‘Homo Hill’ with a little touch of style. Always Homme 올웨이즈옴므 serves a nice range of cocktails, beer, wine, juices and coffee.
Busy on the weekend before/after clubbing hours, with mostly tourists, expats and young local guys. The music is not too loud, and the friendly staff can speak English.
From Itaewon Station (Exit 3), walk to the next street and turn right. Take the second left and walk halfway up the hill and look for the sign on the left.

Cool, stylish gay bar in Itaewon gay district. ALMAZ has a laid-back atmosphere, with light-reflecting disco balls.
ALMAZ is tucked away on a small alley (before you get to ‘Homo Hill’). About halfway down the alley, you’ll see the white sign. Walk through the door, the bar is on your right.

Small, intimate bar next to Always Homme. The décor of Oz is a bit brighter, with seating at the bar but no tables.
Unlike at most bars in the area, you can have a conversation here. The bartenders are friendly. Oz draws a more mature crowd. Open Tuesday-Saturday, from 8pm until late.
Bright, colourful and glittering. Lollipop is a relatively new gay bar in Itaewon with great drag shows at 1am. The owner herself will be in the show.

One of the most popular gay karaoke bars in Jongno. Wallpaper has an attractive design and gets busy every night. Arrive early if you want to get a table and plan to sing.
Jongno 3-ga subway station (Line 1, 3, 5) Exit 6. From the Exit, turn around and turn left, then walk 200 metres and turn left at the intersection.
Gay-popular Nordic bar & café lounge offering a nice selection of drinks. You’re not required to order meals with your drinks, though.

Small, newly opened gay bar with casual and modern atmosphere. COZY Bar serves some Korean food and many kinds of liquor (beer, wine and whiskey). Pop, jazz music and requested songs.
