Founded in 1995, Harbour City Bears is a nonprofit community group for hairy gay men, their admirers and friends. Based in Sydney, the group run regular social events, dance parties and fundraising campaigns for the LGBT community.

Their two annual events, Bear Essentials (February) and Bear Pride (August), have attracted many international visitors. Their mission is to have fun and participate in the community.

The Red Rattler
