  1. No chance for senior white guys

“Went there and found it was really hard to find someone there to have fun. No pool, no hot steam room.“

  2. Taiwanese American Review

“ANIKi is one of the cleanest saunas with a great gym. Most clients are local young guys who are very selective. Few Westerners show up and they have no problems getting laid, unlike Babylon of Bangkok. Most action will take place in the group rooms. Rooms with glory holes are poorly placed.“

  3. Greatly deteriorated, and I don’t just mean the décor

“Visited a couple years ago and was totally WOW’ed, so despite all the bad reviews, decided to come back. Big mistake. While the club still charge the full NT$1000, the interior deteriorated greatly. During my last visit, I truly felt this was the best renovated, most modern sauna I have been around the world. Not anymore. Lots of the facilities are out of order or closed. The place does not feel clean. A large portion of the club felt like site of abandoned construction projects (the shower area literally has exposed, unfinished cement floor). Condoms and lube are no longer supplied in the club (it was supplied at the entrance cashier desk). It appears the owner has opted to run the club on the cheap. The clientele was also not what it was. Last time it was filled with young fit guys in their 20s and 30s. This time, the place did not feel busy (on a Saturday afternoon/early evening), and the proportion of young attractive guys was much smaller. Overall, a disappointing experience.“

  4. Worst experience every

“Only 1 person sleeping in the cabin. There is no other people inside. The facilities are run down, broken, and some areas are closed. It is far from nearby transit, and they charge for NT1000 which is way more expensive than other saunas. They could first inform the custormers if there is less people and if you would still want to continue. We come here to have fun. Not playing with the sleeping guy in the cabin. They said they just provide the facilities, might as well say they just want to earn your money.“

  5. Cold and limited facilities

“Sauna not hot. Stream room not too steamy and quite cold. Facilities limited (no jacuzzi). Generally cold feeling. Staff not very helpful.

Not a very good experience. Lots of room for improvement.

  6. Cold, Foreigners charged double

“This Sauna is an absolute disgrace - the facility is so poorly run they unable to get any heat in either the sauna or either of their steam rooms. I asked staff to fix it but they were unable. It is a disgrace that foreigners are charged double at NTD$1000 per person for this place - so disgusting that a gay establishment is racist in this way.

I can see that money was spent setting the place up but it has obviously landed in the hands of people that deeply incompetent. I sincere wish is it close down and that Taipei get a quality gay sauna.“

  7. Too bright for the steam room?

“Came back from Babylon and like steam rooms there very much. Aniki cut down their steam room to one third and put the light on and not enough steam there. No pool, wrong steam toom with lights. I just don't know what is on their mind to run business. They might need to check soi 13 to learn how to do business. Aniki has parties on Saturday night though. I like foam party the fourth weekend every month.“
