Don’t go here.

My friend asked if he could go inside and 6 “security” guards started attacking him with chairs and then turned on other foreigners when trying to help him. This place is racist and the staff are uneducated thugs. This place needs to be removed from this site or a more explicit warning should be added along with the name. This place is a bad reflection on Vietnam and I guess adds to why Vietnam has an expectionally low return rate.

Bar Full of Hate!

Please remove this place from your website. It discriminates and the guys on the door are just thugs.....Not a place to go alone.

Please behave yourself - and don’t mix politeness with interest

It is true, Bohemia often has serious problems with gay travelers, mostly from US / AU / EU. In contrary to many other nations, the Vietnamese people are polite and answer your questions. If you can’t read the code and continue to stick to them, it is a sign of lack of culture. If the waiter has to ask you out, you obviously have gone fare to fare in your misconduct. The second and serious point is the missing distance and respect. Westerners tend to lose any respect when a bit drunk and 10000 kilometers from home. Not every young or older beauty estimates to be touched constantly in conversation or on dancefloor - not extra or by 'accident'. Go there with respect, go with your VN friend(s) and change your behavior if he/they very friendly ask you to do so. Help to give tourists a better image to the local gay scene.

Great music, good-looking crowd

Pulse offers a good mix of music, ranging from English pop, techno, house and K pop. The crowd consists mainly locals in their 20s. Be there early as Pulse gets really busy around 1am.

Remove this bar

Please remove this bar from your list. They don't allowed foreigners. Only Vietnamese people can go in. Tried twice they always say full or foreigner not allowed. This bar and staff are racist and unfriendly. And as sure not gay friendly.

Not welcoming

I went to this bar last night after being advised that it was near my hotel by the staff at another very gay friendly bar - Broma. I was advised that I had to make a booking which seemed strange as from what I could see it was empty inside. I asked if it was because I was casually dressed. I asked a Vietnamese friend and he advised that no booking was required. Remove this bar from your website if they will not admit gay foreign travelers. It is a pity we can't leave no stars to rate this place.

this bar must cancel from this site

I was there yesterday and was not allowed inside. This bar has nothing to look for a tourist guide. Since there tourists are not welcome obvious. It is bad if all gays fight in the world against homophobia and discrimination, and the Gaytouristen are discriminated in this bar. Very Bad for Gaytraveler !!!

Dont go to Boheme

During my holiday in HCMC, I tried twice to get in to Boheme bar. On both times it was chock full of young people and the disco music was loud and good. But first time I got in there and talked to some Vietnamese gay couples, the waiter wanted to kick me out. I thought this must be a mistake and next evening I tried in again, on Saturday. Again I was kicked out. There only were locals in, no tourists. They don't like tourists, do not go there! The staff was very unfriendly and not know how to behave at all.

Tourist not welcome

Went to the bar on a Saturday night at 11pm. Refused entry. Closed door policy. Only allowed locals. However, it seemed fun with a dance floor and outdoor bar.

Not for sole travelers

I just leave there, I was kicked front of door. The guard said it's full in there. I watched bar from front of the door at more than 3 min when I get try in door before (because i'm alone and little afraid to get in abroad gaybar) some people leaving on there. i saw it! but the guard said that. If you traveler and alone, never try to go there. I think traveler is not welcoming there.

Refused entry also

Didn't even get through the door, brusquely told it was full then observed others walking straight in. Got the feeling they don't like tourists.

Horrible bar unfriendly

This is a small bar unfriendly where I was kicked out the minute i get in ! I went on a Tuesday night around midnight. The bar was full of people seating in table drinking with friends. When i got in, a waiter came straight to me and ask me if i had friends here, i said i was alone and he automatically told me they where closed and direct me back to the door . I came back in to ask why he told me its closed since everybody is dancing or drinking in tables. He told me it is last order and i cant order now while i see people with bottles and pitcher of beer all around me; and some getting served right in front of me. I kept insisting and he end up telling me OK you can order but bottle of alcohol only, not allowed to use the menu of drinks by glass. Unbelievable. Like if by myself I was going to finish a bottle of vodka!!! So basically this place is the least friendly place to go in Vietnam just trying to make money! Good luck to the vietnam gay community if a single good looking 25 years old guy get refused to enter a gay bar... This country full of corruption is way behind china in which the gay community is actually welcoming and growing! Boheme bar: to avoid !!
