Gay-popular Thai restaurant due to its prime location in the heart of the Silom gay scene (on Convent Road next to Starbucks).
BUA (meaning “lotus” in Thai), serves tasty authentic Thai food in a cosy setting at reasonable prices. Lots of gay customers, especially foreigners.

“Sitting here in BUA enjoying the relatively cheap eats and beer. Big, freshly cooked prawn cake, grilled pork and cute guys sitting nearby. Free wifi - just ask for the password (which is their phone number). Management have even splashed out on a new sink in the mens bathroom since I was here last!“
