Visa ..yes.. then no.

Lacklustre massage in semi clean and dated surroundings. Staff aren't the most attractive I've witnessed at a spa either. The masseuse himself barely spoke English meaning I was unable to relax due to my frustration of him not understanding answers to my questions, especially around negotiating tip. In addition to this, when I first entered the first question I asked was if they took visa. The answer was a yes. When I came to pay.... Guess what... They don't take visa. I then had to waste 30 minutes of my time escorted by a member of their staff to find an ATM. No apologies or offers of a discount for my inconvenience - says a lot about their customer service. To summarise there are many much better spas in Singapore... I would advise you go to one of those.

Not recommended

Yes, the place is noisy and the noise does penetrate the wooden wall. You need to key-in a code on their electronic door before you enter and then need to walk all the way up. Entrance - they'll ask you to remove your shoe and offer you tea Toilet - clean and tidy, will ask you to take shower before massage, access to toilet has no privacy at all as you need to walk all the way to the lobby and entrance just to get to the toilet. Ambiance - the spa is too bright, doesn't look like a spa Staff - all over sitting on the cushion, so you can see them or them looking at you when you go to toilet (no privacy at all!!!) Masseur - they will not ask you to choose, they'll just assign someone to massage you Massage room - room is quite bright, floor is very smelly because of the wax they use to shine it Massage - the masseur is not pushy, will ask you if you want extra service, I said no and they're okay with it, pressure is so so only Overall, not recommended. If you are asking me whether I will come back? well, I have been to other spas and my answer is NO; I am not coming back to Lime Spa.

Will Not Come Back Again!!!

The place is very noisy, the phone keep on ringing almost throughout my massage. And the ringing sound is very loud and annoying. The music they play is very loud as well, not suitable for a relaxing mood. The place is old and a little bit run down. The only good thing about this place is the staff can give a very good massage. But I do not think I will come back again to this place.

Nothing fantastic

The spa is a bit old and not very clean. Privacy not very good either, as the shower room is not attached in the massage room. The massage is amazing, one of the best one I have so far. The therapist very friendly and attentive. Will I come back ?? Maybe not, I can find a a better spa.

Look for "Jay"

The place is cozy and I liked it. It was clean and modern. I got to choose my masseur which is JAY; all seemed nice and the one I chose was well trained in Thai massage and especially muscled. Massage quality of everything made it worthwhile. I am definitely coming back again (because of JAY), hopefully quite soon.”

I miss drew

I have tried it once with a masseur name Drew. I think he is so cool. I want to keep coming back because of him. He is very good. But he is working part time so better make appointment earlier to arrange with him.

Lime Spa

Went there and tried scrub and a 60-min massage. If you pay for the massage, you get a $10 discount for a side to make it a combo. Had a masseur from Myanmar, whose name I've forgotten. Making the appointment: It was quick and hassle-free. Got it the same day I made the call. Getting there: You need to locate the stairway just next to J's Restaurant. Go up and then use the intercom so that the door could be opened for you. There is not obvious sign that says Lime Spa. I almost missed the entrance after going through the door. But you can smell the 'spa'. Reception: I was welcomed with a drink (Ribena, I think) and Newton looked a little stern but after the session, he wore a smile on his face. He would pass you the menu for you to choose your treatment. Then you choose your masseur. The scrub: It's done in a separate room where there is a shower facility. I would say it was just a touch-and- go scrub. Would prefer something that's more coarse. The coconut scrub was rinsed off shortly after it was applied on one side of the body. The scrub wasn't left on the body followed by a real 'scrub' by the masseur like how other spas I'd gone to did it. The room is rather bright (6+ in the evening) and if you are the shy type, you might feel uneasy. The massage: The masseur was attentive initially as he asked how I wanted the pressure to be like. By the way, the guest gets to choose a masseur. I even told him to focus on certain areas and applied more pressure there. I wasn't sure if he heard me or he couldn't understand my request. The pressure was strong initially but it faded as the session went on. I thought the massage could be better overall. Tipping: The masseur will bring you your shoes and stand by the door to say goodbye. :P The spa is generally clean. Try to request for a room instead of the partitions.
