The Lane, Siem Reap, Cambodia

Miss Wong opened its door in 2008 and has never looked back.

This gay-owned (by gay New Zealander Mr. Dean Williams) retro Shanghai-themed cocktail lounge offers a place to relax with in an intimate leather booth sipping an Indochine martini.

The bar tends to attract a more mature crowd, but there's nothing 'wong' with that!

Best bar in SR

This bar is really classy and welcoming. Bar staff are friendly and efficient. They also do food (didn’t try) but it’s a really cosy and quiet bar away from the bars of awful pub street. Do some interesting gin and tonic combinations too!

Ahhhhmayyyyyyzeeeeeng

Tucked away just behind pub street, this place is a gem! I don't know what the guy who wrote the review about the drinks being 15ml was thinking but he's dead wrong! The drinks here are strong! (But not overpowering). I and my partner enjoy a good cocktail and Miss Wong's did not disappoint! So many different cocktails to choose from and each one was done with an incredible attention to detail. These drinks would easily set you back $20 in any other city in the world. I love me some lemongrass, Jasmine, and otherworldly flavours. These are staples here. We loved it so much we came back the same day. You can get $2 "cocktails" on pub street but miss Wong's puts them to shame! There is no comparison. Please do yourself a favour, go to miss Wong's and indulge, because when you go home, this isn't a luxury most of us would enjoy often. Wow. Just wow. Ps. Apparently the owner is gay. We chose this place because it was advertised as gay-friendly, which it is, but honestly, every place in Siem reap is gay-friendly.

Pretty bar with matching food, drinks and ambience.

Miss Wong takes you to a place in China which is red, dark, mystical and yet so sensual... It's a very pretty bar with drinks made to perfection. I must have had all their vodka-based cocktails during my stint in Siem Reap. We also ordered for some food and it was very good in taste. We met the owner who told us about another outlet near The Museum. That's on our agenda when we return to SR again. I will recommend starting your evening at Miss Wong and then go crazy somewhere else.

A Gem

What an absolute gem. The perfect little "hide-away" in a tiny narrow alley. For a small party or for some little romantic moments....
