Fun & friendly bar in Jongno!

I've spent the last 3 nights at Shortbus and had a lot of fun. The owner and his staff are very friendly to all the customers and very efficient. The service is great. I sat at the bar all 3 nights and managed to strike up a conversation with people each night. Shortbus attracts mostly Korean customers but a couple of westerners were in each night I was there (including me!). Drink prices are reasonable and it is just a nice Gay place to hang out.

Great bar!

My first visit to the bar. The bartender is obviously Korean but tries hard to speak in English which I am very proud of them to try. Engaging customers and giving a wet towel to everyone who enters is very refreshing. Gives the right snacks to accompany the drinks as well. However don't expect them to engage u much since u don't speak Korean. As it was a Sunday the crowd is much lesser. Bartender recommends nice drinks. Definitely will come again

Amazing Service, Quieter Bar

For anyone who knows Korean service, they'll know customer service basically doesn't exist. There's no real great customer service especially in gay bars. Shortbus is the one exception. The staff are friendly and SO attentive to their customers. They provide a towelette to wipe ones hands upon arrival, constant refilling of the little snacks, attentive any time you call them, just overall so great. It's a quieter bar with a bit of an older crowd ('Gravity' just below is louder and a younger crowd), and the style is a touch "older" with less club/techno music and more old school diva songs, but that shouldn't take away from the overall place. Plus the drinks are good - my fav is the mojito.
