Ignore the venue, enjoy the service

The other reviews are correct. This spa has seen much better days. It is old, run-down and could be cleaner. But if you pick a masseur who is enthusiastic and makes eye contact, you will have a good time. That is what really matters.

Avoid this place

I visited UniMan in May 2014 and it was the most disappointing massage experience I have ever had! Firstly, the place is not very easy to find and it took me a while to get there. The salon looked like a brothel rather than massage parlor with many [unattractive] guys waiting at the entrance trying to attract your attention with a hope to be chosen by the passing client. I booked a masseur on the phone and the guy turned out very different from his photoshopped photo on their website. He accompanied me to a dirty room which had a filthy en-suite shower cabin. The provided towel was not fresh and I had to ask for another one. When I tipped him with 800 baht, he asked for additional 200. The bottom line: avoid this place by all means unless you just need to get off quickly [but not cheaply] without enjoying the atmosphere and the massage itself.

A humble and wholesome place

The name may have changed but this venue has been around for a hangout 10+ yrs. This place reminds us of what Bangkok is used to be: cheap, a bit run down and anything goes. Mostly street-typed and aged 25/30+. The waiting area is also a gym for the lads to workout and hangout. As soon as a customer comes everyone will stand up and the eager ones will take their shirts off. To me, massage is always interactive and a two-way street. Besides picking the one that appeals to you physically, consider those who make eye contact and smile, a safe cue that they mean business. P.S. The mall where the spa is locates is actually a Korean one so check out the authentic Korean fare while you are there.

Avoid This Place, It was horrible experence

It was the disaster! I was the only customer, so about 10 masseurs available. The room was really run down and dirty with mosquito. The masseur has hardly been trained, just pushed here bit and pushed there bit. I paid for 90 minutes and he finished just around 45 minutes. I thought he rushed for ending, so he could get extra tip, but NO, that was not the purpose. He finished because he did not know how to do anything anymore. I got out and complained to the owner (or manager) about how bad the massage. They insisted that I should pay no matter what, even though they finally suggested to charge me for one hour for this so-called massage. This place is on my black list.

A Happy Time

I've gone to UniMan more than once. I've usually been happy with the results. This year, I chose a masseur named John, and he was excellent. He is a little shy, and his English isn't great, but he has a great body and smile, and he really knows how to work your body with his hands, ending in a very satisfying result. I would definitely ask for him again. A friend went with me this year and he chose a masseur named Ton, who he said was also excellent. I will surely go to UniMan again. I was very satisfied.
