Expect the Unexcepted.

Yes, it was on Valentine's when I visited WaterNest. I arrived in the mid Sunday afternoon without any prebooking. The location is great, easy to find and discreet (a short walk from Phrom Phong BTS station). I was greeted by a gentle host who showed me the treatments' list and served me cold drink. The Water Therapy/scrub and signature massage was my package (around two hours). Then they let you choose your therapist - this was the hardest part for me - Khun Sun was my masseur. Though This spa is fairly new, the facility (like many other gay's spas) needs better care. The Water Therapy/scrub was truly relaxing (but do ask for the water temperature that suits you). Then came the signature massage which was.. err.. how should I put this.. quite surprising!! (May be it was Valentine's special.) In short, by all mean, do try out WaterNest Spa for the prices are fairly reasonable, well trained therapists, quiet/relaxing location, but most of all.. the surprise!!! And that is all I can say. Cheers!!

Maybe just bad luck?!

Went to Waternest recently. I would call it rather a neutral M2M massage, not a gay massage. Booked for a full body massage. Masseur was keeping on towel all time and always placed my hand back on the table when it just happened to touch him. All body to body contact was carefully avoided. So was massaging the inner legs; when it became a bit erotic, he moved on to another body part. Shower was cold, warm water just came through at the end of the shower.

Great massage

I go to Water Nest each time when in Bangkok, always good service and good price. Ton was my masseur and did good job and I felt very good leaving place. It is nice and quiet ,located in small alley and short walk from Phrom Phong BTS station. Once again ,Thank you

Good place , bad choice of masseur

Nice, cosy environment but experience was spoilt by the masseur I chose. I happened to pick Nook (similar to what was described in previous post). Scrub was ok but when it came to massage, he started asking for 1500 baht extra shortly after starting. Service just dropped after that. Will not recommend this guy. Am not sure about the other guys, though.

Good and nice

Nice place. Minimum tip 1000 and that's all. The masseur I had called new was good and keen to please. But the massage service itself quite expensive - rain shower plus massage its about 1.5K baht. Cleanliness was good and I love the rain shower. It really remove the fatigue with the masseur touching you occasionally haha

Rushed massage

Easy to find. Nice and clean place as well. I had Nook as my masseur. His skills were ok but only lasted for 3/4 of the session. I had the 40 mins scrub and 65 mins massage. The scrub was a full 40 mins. As for the massage, 30 mins into it he started to ask if I want to come. I said yes and he asked for a tip of 1500 baht. In the end, we agreed at 1300 baht. Once the happy ending was done, he said he'd go to shower to wash up and asked me to relax. When he was done he just asked me to go shower myself. I was expecting him to finish up his work because he has not massaged my front. He just got dressed and stood at one corner and waited for me to shower, dry myself and get dressed. He only passed me the towel while I was standing there. His service level basically went from 80% to 5%. Maybe it's the masseur you get, but I will not go back again.

Good experience

Went today after reading reviews (this place seems to have the best of them) and it did live up to expectations! Clean facilities, police staff, great masseur and an even better happy ending. Recommended.

Excellent!

With only one and a half hours to spare before I needed to get back to check out of my hotel I knew I was pushing my luck. It was only 11.45 am so only 2 masseurs to choose from. However I was able to fit in the 40 min water body scrub (a new and wonderful experience for me) and then a full body massage. Aung, from Myanmar was lovely throughout and never seemed to be rushing. It was a very happy ending to my stay in Bangkok. I hope I can come back here.

So so

After reading all the reviews I still did not know what to expect. This is how it works. You can choose for scrub or massage or both. Last one will be quite expensive. I choose scrub. 4 guys came and I had to choose. The scrub itself was very pleasant and nice. The guy who gave it was not in the nude. Towel, underwear. After asking to take off everything he hesitated but did it finally. The end was ok. I don't know if I would recommend it. Only if you are Looking for something different than a normal massage

Sept 2014 Visit

Was there in Sept 2014 and was my first visit to a gay spa/massage in Bangkok. The overall experience was good. From the enquiry I made over phone, to the welcoming reception where we could sit and choose the packages with some help from the staff. Then the awkward moment came when the curtains were drawn to reveal close to 10 guys to choose from! Picked a guys, and found out later he was from Vietnam, he was gentle with the scrub session, washed me down without trying to be hanky panky. Massage was good strength though not the best (if I wanted the best I would have gone for the traditional Thai and have a fat woman break my bones!). There was absolutely no rush, no pushy requests. Half way through I couldn't resist :) The rest is up to your imagination :) At the end of it, he gave me a good shower, and wasn't even too fussed about the tip. Definitively will be a returning customer and I hope he'll still be there :)

Very nice experience

Had a very nice experience there last night. I cannot confirm the recent reports about rushing things and cutting the allocated time. Manager nice, friendly and helpful with explaining and recommending treatments (presented on an ipad), too. I had the same treatment as Alex (see his review 12-2-2014) with the scrub on the balcony with the multiple shower heads over the scrub table. Plus a very good 60 minute massage by Danny, very nice and educated guy, actually from the Philippines, which explains his excellent English. Unfortunately, Danny will go back to his country in a few weeks after one year with Waternest. Place is well maintained, clean, upscale feel, nice ambiance. I can recommend it.

Very short times

I and friend go to this spa during holiday season of new years. I say the same thing like other customers. The masseurs was very fast to do everything. Why so in hurry? My friend also told the same thing that the 1 hours massage and water scrub all finished very fast. We know because we look at the wall clock on their wall and a lot of time left but the masseurs stop the works. This place can not recommend at all. Waste of money for unpleasant staff and bad service. Also masseuse ask for more money if want to do more service? We will never go back sorry!

Disappointing

Quality of massage was so-so and it ended well before the allocated time. Wouldn't go back a second time.

Different from other spas

WaterNest is a new spa in the Sukhumvit area which I used about two months ago. About ten minutes walk from the BTS Phrom Phong station. They have a unique water-bed which is a massage bed with shower head mounted over it. I really enjoyed getting a good scrub by the masseur while the warm water was constantly pouring onto my skin. The treatment took place on a balcony which was properly protected against views from outside so it really felt like getting a scrub in the open during a monsoon shower.... So if you are looking for a somewhat different experience I recommend a visit to this place. One thing that I noticed during check-in was that the management wanted me to book the spa-course first and introduce the available masseurs to me only after that. So I chose only the water treatment (40 minutes for 740 Baht) which is a sure winner (!!), and once I saw the available masseurs I added additional treatments from their menu.

Fabulous!!

Was looking for a good massage and spa and saw review and ad on Waternest. Went ahead thinking of another of those dodgy place. But it turns out to be a super good experience. Place was clean and presentable not feeling a bit of dark and dirty like most centrei visited. Took the water spa and massage and had this awesome masseur Danny work me all over. And my oh my.. Was he good in massage making sure I am all fine all along. Danny spoke good English which is a plus point and his pressure on my body was just perfect pitch. End of session Danny asked.. "Did you enjoy the massage sir?" I answered.. "Danny if you were in my country I will visit and have your massage weekly!" Yes!! He was this good!! Danny bet on it I will return and see you again!

Unforgettable

my friends & I went here last night (Nov-29, 2014). The only thing I can say is, it was unfortgettable and was a blast! My masseur was SPY and he was above excellent when he did the body scrub + massage! He made sure from time to time that I'm comfortable, I'm OK with the service, and lastly I'm happy! Spy was a very good masseur, sweet and very accommodating. Make sure you get his service when you go here. Their facilities are great, their reception/ist is very accommodating and will make you feel at home. I will definitely come back to this place the next time I come here in Bangkok. Thanks for the unforgettable experience, Spy! (PS: Spy is not good in English. He can speak and understand very little English but it is OK as he will make you experience the happiest massage ever!)

A hidden gem

First time I went looking for it I missed it but the next time I found it. The sign is hardly visible from the main road, but just walk in to the Sub Soi and you will find Waternest in the end to the left of you. I chose a Rainworks scrub followed by an essential oil massage. You in a way build you own treatments from the Ipad menu. Recommended tip was 700 baht for one treatment and 800 baht for two or more treatments. I let the manager choose the therapist. There were six there when I came on a Sunday afternoon- all handsome and cute. I got a guy who turned out to be Burmese from Yangoon, and he provided a very good massage complete with happy ending. Will go there again and perhaps make it to my regular joint in Bangkok?

Good

A good new spa. Masseurs are good. The front desk guy was friendly. Me & my friend were there before 13:00 on Friday and there were 4 masseurs available, which is good. Rooms and massage are good with very happy ending. Will be one of my regular spas in Bangkok. Hope they keep it as good.

To be discovered

Knew bout this spa from a fellow traveler and followed the directions shown on the business card he gave me. Wasn't easy if you got no map but once you see the directions, pretty easy to locate. Got served by a cute fit guy I chose named Danny. His service was excellent. The water scrub was truly enjoyable and spmething I never had before. Massage was done skillfully and had me relaxed the whole time. Longer time was indeed needed. Definitely coming back on my next lay-over!

Small but beautiful facility with great massage

This small spa is about 200 m from Phrom Phong BTS (exit 3). Walk up Soi 39 and it is in the shops behind Philippe Restaurant. The owner and staff are nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable, the facilities very elegant and clean, and the massage staff cute and attentive.

Opening times...

Weekdays: 11:00 - 23:00??? I got there at 22:20, but they were already closed. If we have to go there before 22:00, why not change the time? Massage good or not - I don't know, but i don't want to go there again.

Amazing

Was intrigued with the concept of the spa so I tried it. It was easy to find just a few minutes walk from a BTS station. Few therapists so not much to choose from but the one I got (I was not able to get his name) was very nice. I genuinely felt that he would do anything to give me the best experience. Price is cheaper too. Hopefully the experience I got is not just because they are new.
