Probably the most popular gay bar in Singapore, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights with party boys who down a few cocktails before heading across the road to Taboo.
A great combination of sights, sounds and reasonably-priced drinks (such as ultra-affordable double-shot house pours for SGD10 a glass) makes the open-air courtyard and indoor bar a great place to start any night out.

Very popular 5,000 square foot two-story dance club with a lounge bar in the loft area. The main LED-lit dance floor is open on Friday, Saturday and the eve of public holidays. The upstairs loft area (Attic) is more of a chill-out area.
Taboo hosts a special themed party “Hot” on the last Saturday of each month featuring an international guest DJ. Check Taboo’s website for details. Taboo tends to attract a younger crowd and gets busier after midnight at weekends as the party moves across the road from Tantric bar.

May Wong (1905 -1961) was the first Asian American actress to become an international star, with a career spanning both silent and sound films, TV, stage and radio. May Wong’s Cafe, located directly above Tantric Bar is a fitting tribute to this pioneering actress. The oriental, yet old English-influenced decor is adorned with numerous pictures of May Wong taken from many of the films in which she starred.
May Wong’s has an extensive menu of inventive cocktails such as the ‘Tropical Orgy’ and Flaming Fiesta’ and, like the downstairs Tantric Bar, offers affordable drinks. Popular with trendy executives but all are welcome.

DYMK comes from the initial letters of ‘Does Your Mother Know?’ If she found you in this bar, she probably would.
DYMK is located in a traditional townhouse and offers a cozy, relaxed environment featuring original artworks and old-fashioned wooden settees. A great place to meet friends for a drink. DYMK can be booked for private parties, and they offer a complimentary birthday cake if you call and tell them it’s your birthday at least two days in advance. Nice.

PS Cafe operates 4 branches across Singapore, and they are all as gay-friendly as you can get. PS Cafe was a spin-off brand from Project Shop Blood Brothers – the Singapore tank top and tee shirt fashion retailer that was synonymous with the gay market. The adult only PS Cafe in Ann Siang Hill is located in what used to be a gay sauna and is particularly popular after work on Thursday nights.
