Central Alabama Pride 2024

Birmingham, Alabama is set to host an extraordinary celebration of diversity, acceptance, and unity with Central Alabama Pride 2024. Scheduled from June 1st to June 9th, this year's theme, "Pride Revolution," highlights the community's ongoing fight against anti-LGBTQ legislation and honors significant strides made in LGBTQ+ rights.

The festivities kick off with an array of events, starting with the stunning Sunset Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8th. Commencing at 8 PM, the parade will weave through the picturesque Lakeview District on 7th Ave South. Attendees can look forward to a sensational display of colorful floats, dynamic bands and diverse community organizations. The event is designed to inspire unity and celebrate identities in an unforgettable way.

The excitement continues the following day with Pride Fest at Historic Linn Park, running from 11 AM to 7 PM. This year’s festival boasts an impressive lineup of headliners:

- Dance legend Robin S
- Iconic 90's R&B and Hip Hop artist Adina Howard
- Drag superstars Angeria Paris VanMicheals and Gottmik from RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars
- Beloved performers Britta Filter and Mrs. Kasha Davis from RuPaul's Drag Race

In addition to world-class performances, Pride Fest will feature many activities including live music, dance shows, local vendors, and delicious food options. It's more than just a festival - it’s a vibrant celebration of community, history, and progress.
