Roma Pride 2024: parade, dates and hotels

Join thousands of gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgender people and friends, locals and visitors at Rome's largest annual gay celebrations.

The 2024 Rome Gay Pride parade will happen on June 15 and will start in the afternoon through the city centre, followed by a host of events, activities and dance parties.

The first event took place in 1994 so this will be the 30th anniversary of Roma Pride. Over 100,000 people are expected to visit making this one of the biggest LGBT+ events in Italy.

In the distant past, great Roman war leaders had their own Pride events (or "Triumphs") through the streets of Rome if they won a significant battle. Now the gays have their own Triumph every June - rather than vanquished enemies they are joined by drag queens. No doubt Ceaser would be very happy!
